REGISTER TO RIDE

All riders are encouraged to Register to Ride for a small Annual or Day donation. This money goes entirely towards trail maintenance and park operations and is vital for the sustainability of the park.

Please Register to Ride and show your support for this great project!

All Registered Riders receive a FREE TRAIL MAP and are eligible for a whole heap of great incentives offered around town by local businesses supporting the Park (see below).

(Annual Koha is done via the Hivepass App, Day Koha can be made onsite at the Park).

Register to Ride with the HIVEPASS APP and get trail updates and news, you can check your account status and access all the awesome discounts offered around town with your Hivepass Digital Card.

ANNUAL DONATION

Annual Register to Ride Donations can only be made using the Hivepass App: $50 per adult and $25 per child (under 17 years). It is valid for one year from the date of registration. Don’t forget to PICK UP YOUR BIKE TAG!

Due to popular demand – we are bringing back the Tags! If you have an Annual HivePass you will now also need a plastic tag for your bike, to show us how awesome you are, plus it identifies you out on the trails as a proud supporter of the Park. Very uncool to be seen without one! The tag colour changes with the year, so you will need to change the tag at the beginning of each year, if you have an active Hivepass. Show your active HivePass Digital Card to the team and Paihia Mountain Bikes and they will give you a tag and cable tie to attach it to your bike (attach to your handle bar or seat) Tag Colour for 2025 is a PINK TRIANGLE.

DAY DONATION

Make a Day Donation: Only here for a day? Do a Day Koha – $20 for adults, $10 for child (14 years and under) This can be done onsite at the park – see the team at Paihia Mountain Bikes.

OR you can choose to be a MEGA SUPPORTER and go for WAITANGI GOLD

by choosing to pay $100 for your Annual Hivepass. Get an extra special gold sticker for your bike! This option has been introduced as feedback provided to us about the cost of an annual hivepass varies. Some feel that $50 is too cheap while others don’t want to see any increase. So this new option allows people to choose a level that they are comfortable with. There are no additional benefits to either level, other than the amount of money you’re contributing to making Waitangi a great place to ride, plus the cool gold sticker for your bike if you go WAITANGI GOLD!
