The Waitangi Mountain Bike Park is a community mountain bike park. It has been built by the efforts of our community and is for the benefit of our whole community.

Every user of the park is encouraged to Register to Ride by making a minimum annual donation of $50 per adult and $25 per child. Your Annual Register to Ride donation is valid for one year from the date of registration on the HIVEPASS app.  These funds will go towards ongoing trail maintenance and are vital for the long-term sustainability of the Park.

When you Register to Ride on the Hivepass App, you will receive a “Digital Card”. Many businesses in the Bay of Islands have volunteered incentives to encourage bike riders to donate in this way. Show your “Digital Card” to these businesses to redeem their incentives.

SHOW US YOU SUPPORT THE PARK

If you have an Annual HivePass you will also need a plastic tag for your bike, to show us how awesome you are, and that you support the Park. Very uncool to be seen without one! The tag colour changes with the year, so you will need to change the tag at the beginning of each year, if you have an active Hivepass.

Show your active HivePass to the team onsite at Paihia Mountain Bikes  and they will give you a tag and cable tie to attach it to your bike (attach to you handle bars or seat).
